Challenge
Organizing beach volleyball across scattered group chats makes it difficult to find nearby games, match skill levels and keep scheduling and team communication together.
What I built
I built a Flutter app backed by Go, Rust and PostgreSQL, with Meilisearch and infrastructure on GKE. Location-based discovery and skill ratings connect players, while scheduling, team chat and cost splitting support match organization.
Result
Players can discover open games nearby, organize different match formats and follow their progress in city and club rankings within one app.
Key capabilities
- Nearby game discovery with skill-level filters and automatic ratings from Rookie to Pro.
- Support for 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and King of the Court formats.
- Scheduling, team chat, cost splitting and self-updating city and club leaderboards.
